Your movie follows you.
A movie-theater concept that lets a customer who already paid for a movie continue watching that exact showing on their phone when they briefly step out of the auditorium.
7:30 PM SHOWING
How SeatStream would work
The customer does not buy the movie twice. Their paid movie-theater ticket becomes the temporary permission key for one specific showing.
Why customers would use it
The feature is designed around the real reasons people miss parts of a movie.
Parents
A child starts crying. The parent can step into the lobby without losing the story.
Restroom breaks
Instead of wondering what happened during a key scene, the customer can keep up while away from the seat.
Concession lines
If popcorn, drinks, or food take longer than expected, the movie does not have to be missed.
Accessibility
Captions, larger controls, and audio-description support can give customers more ways to enjoy the same showing.
Emergency call
A customer who has to briefly step into the hallway can remain connected to the movie experience.
No second purchase
The feature is tied to the ticket they already bought and ends with that showing.
Choose your movie theater
SeatStream is designed as a universal theater feature. A customer could select the theater chain where they bought their ticket, then verify that exact ticket and showing.
Major U.S. theater chains
This is a live, synchronized stream of the exact movie playing in your auditorium. When you return to your seat, playback on your phone stops automatically.

SEE IT WORK: ONE MOVIEGOER'S NIGHT
A father takes his young daughter to the 7:00 PM showing. Forty-two minutes in β right at a big scene β she needs the restroom. Watch what SeatStream does, step by step. This is a concept illustration: the βmovieβ is an animated graphic, there is no real movie content, and nothing to upload.

Dad's Phone β SeatStream
The phone only ever plays inside the theater, only for a verified ticket, and only until the showing ends.
A night at the movies, the SeatStream way
Press Play Example and watch the two timecodes. The whole idea lives or dies on one thing: when Dad steps out, his phone must start at the exact same moment the big screen is showing β 00:42:17 β and keep pace with it until he sits back down.
The session sequence from the SeatStream Invention Bible (Β§16).
π΅ The $2 Example (from the Invention Bible, Β§23β24)
How the add-on could work at the box office: a $15.00 ticket + $2.00 SeatStream add-on = $17.00. In the Bible's example, that $2.00 is split three ways:
Example math from the Bible: at $0.75 per use to SeatStream, 1,000,000 uses a month = $750,000 a month gross to SeatStream before expenses.
Example for illustration β not a promised contract. Prices, splits, and volumes are the Bible's worked example to show the shape of the business, not a deal any theater or studio has agreed to.

Live Theater Mirror Demo
This demonstrates the real SeatStream idea: the theater screen plays first, then the movie hands off to your phone at the exact same moment when you stand up to leave.

7:30 PM Showing
Built around studio security
A real version would need studio-approved content protection so SeatStream remains a theater feature, not a take-home streaming service.
Playback works only while the customer remains at the participating location.
The movie is unlocked by the customer's valid ticket and exact showtime.
A production system would use studio-approved DRM and encrypted streaming.
Access ends at the end of the showing or when the customer leaves the theater.
No permanent movie copy is saved to the customer's phone.
Screen recording and screenshots can be restricted where supported by the device and DRM system.
Why theaters could want it
Customer Experience
SeatStream turns a common frustration into a premium theater feature. Parents, families, older guests, and customers with accessibility needs get more value from the ticket they already bought.
The idea could become a a theater loyalty program benefit, premium membership feature, accessibility service, or paid add-on if a theater chain chose that business model.
Business Opportunity
Better guest satisfaction can help reduce refund complaints when someone must briefly leave the auditorium. It can also make concession trips less stressful because customers know they will not miss the movie.
A pilot could begin at selected theaters before expanding to additional locations after studio, legal, security, and technical approval.
